The Department of Middle Eastern Studies, Faculty of Arts, Charles University, provides education and research in the languages, literature, and history of the region as well as in its relation to Europe and the present and past of the region’s cultures that originated in the Middle Eastern region. Currently, the department offers education in the following programmes: Middle Eastern Studies and Hebrew and Jewish Studies.
