Viktor Bielický, PhD graduated in the specializations Arabic Studies and Hebrew Studies. Since 2009, he has been teaching courses at Arabic Studies on Arabic grammar and Modern Standard Arabic. In his dissertation (defended in 2015), he focused on the verbal valency in Modern Standard Arabic. Between the years 2004-2008, he participated in the annotation process of The Prague Arabic Dependency Treebank (PADT). He is the author of several shorter translations of modern Arabic literature.
