Mgr. Adam Pospíšil graduated in Arabic Studies and General linguistics at CUFA. Currently, he is a PhD student at the Institute of Comparative Linguistics where he researches the grammar description and comparison of complex predicates in different varieties of Arabic. He takes interest in the studies of grammar description and analysis, and field linguistics. In terms of Arabic Studies, his main interest is the spoken language and Arabic dialectology.

At the Department of Middle Eastern Studies, he teaches Modern Standard Arabic.
