Mgr. Mona Khademi was born and grew up in Tehran where she studied library and archive studies at the Shahid Beheshti University. After graduation, she worked at the National Library of Iran. After immigrating to the Czech Republic, she studied a bachelor’s program in Bohemian Studies and a master’s program of Middle Eastern Studies at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University. During her studies, she primarily focused on historical and linguistic topics. Since 2012 she has been teaching Persian in a language school and since 2018 she has been working as a Persian language and realia teacher at the Department of Middle Eastern Studies of FA CU. She is one of the main members of the project of Persian-Czech dictionary, which is currently being developed at the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. At the same time, she works as an interpreter and translator.
