The Department of Middle Eastern Studies and the “Nad Prahou půlměsíc” festival cordially invite you to a lecture to be delivered at the DMES by Syrian scholar Ahmadiyya Al-Nasan (Institut français du Proche-Orient) at DMES on her research dedicated to the travelogues of the Arab-Ottoman traveler Abd ar-Rahman al-Baghdadi, who visited India and Brazil in the 19th century. The lecture will be held in Arabic.
